Ku, Taeseo (구태서)
Dr. Ku joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Konkuk University as an Associate Professor in 2022. Prior to joining Konkuk University, Dr. Ku was an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS). At NUS, he was a leading PI for several geotechnical and geophysical research projects that were funded by Singapore government agencies such as Land Transport Authority, Ministry of National Development, and Ministry of Education. He also served as a nominated member for TC 101 (Laboratory Stress Strength Testing of Geomaterials) and TC 102 (Ground Property Characterization from In-Situ Tests), International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). His primary research interests are on the related areas of in-situ geotechnics & geophysical site investigations.
